The Murol themed holiday village (Massif Central) has 70 apartments for full board, half-board or self catering holidays, facing the magnificent Murol castle, in the heart of the Sancy mountains, within the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park. This comfortable themed holiday village has a variety of accommodation that can be adapted to suit your family. Bungalows, lodges or rooms with a balcony are available on a full board or half-board basis (for up to 6 people). Our self catering gîtes come with an equipped kitchen and a terrace, and can accommodate up to 4 people (over either one or two floors). For your convenience, your beds will be made up on arrival. Take in the snow-covered sides of the volcanoes on skis, a sled or snowshoes, and you’re sure to work up an appetite!

The restaurant at this themed holiday village in the Massif Central offers buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each day, our chef and his team cook up a local dish from the Auvergne/Massif Central region. If you like cheese, you’re in for a treat! The delicious recipes will restore you, such as truffade (a potato and cheese dish), coq au vin, Auvergne hotpot, trout with Saint-Nectaire cheese, aligot du Cantal (a potato and cheese dish), pounti (a kind of cake of meat and eggs from the Cantal region) and pompe aux pommes (apple turnover)... Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style.

 As Murol castle and its medieval animations are very close, our catering team offers a menu and a medieval atmosphere once a week! Auvergne is also a wine-growing region (known for Côtes d’Auvergne and Pays de la Loire...). You can enjoy the local wines with our wine menu (optional extra, and of course to be consumed with moderation).
